So whats it all about? SPLITN2 ????

Well it came about from an opportunity I looked in 2005, a small NZ snowboard manufacturing business was for sale. After some quick evaluation I chickened out! Too hard too expensive too much risk overvalued…. I had 3 young kids to look after so needed to get real eh!

In 2009 I started thinking about it again. As a family we had moved back to Christchurch and it just made sense to give it a go down here. I love building things and love the back country, and was confident that building snowboards splitboards and skis was not hard if you do your planning and homework right.
